BATU BARA — The Narcotics Investigation Unit (Satres Narkoba) of the Batu Bara Police continues to demonstrate its commitment to social solidarity and community welfare. Through its routine Jumat Berkah (Blessed Friday) outreach, police officers visited residents in Tali Air Permai Village, Nibung Hangus District, Batu Bara Regency, on Friday (14/8/2026).
The presence of the police officers brought more than just essential food assistance, including bags of rice and sugar. Beyond the aid, the program serves as a tangible expression of police care, aiming to strengthen friendship and build open, constructive dialogue between law enforcement and local citizens.
Head of the Batu Bara Police Narcotics Unit, Arifin Purba, emphasized that community empowerment must go hand in hand with proactive measures to ensure the younger generation remains healthy and drug-free. He urged the local community, particularly young adults, to strictly avoid narcotics, warning that drug abuse inflicts severe damage on physical health, family stability, and social harmony.
“Stay away from drugs. Narcotics are our common enemy and pose a grave threat to the future of our younger generation,” Arifin stressed during the outreach.

Youth representative Abdillah Tarigan conveyed his deep appreciation and gratitude to the Batu Bara Police Narcotics Unit for extending immediate aid to families in need.
